Terrace Eye Centre is now offering corneal crosslinking (CXL) in-house for patients with keratoconus and progressive corneal ectasia with the acquisition of a state of the art Peschke CXL device.

Corneal Crosslinking is a well-established and proven treatment with excellent effectiveness at halting progression of keratoconus, pellucid marginal degeneration and post-LASIK ectasia. The Swiss made Peschke Sapphire CXL device has just been released and offers variable energy and treatment times, variable aperture and auto-calibration to allow tailored, quick and extremely safe treatments.

Our corneal subspecialists Drs Peter Beckingsale and Sing-Pey Chow are highly experienced with CXL treatments. Combined with our high definition Pentacam corneal topography we are ideally placed to monitor and treat all patients with keratoconus from diagnosis, crosslinking, implantable contact lenses, cataract surgery, topography guided laser treatments and corneal transplantation.
