At the recent AMA National Conference 2017 Gala Dinner Dr Bill Glasson was awarded the AMA Gold Medal.

Dr William Glasson AO, former AMA national (2003-2005) and Queensland (2001-2002) president has been recognised with the highest honour the peak medical body can bestow.

Dr Glasson received the Medal in recognition of his exceptional service to the AMA over may years, and his long-term and ongoing commitment to eye health of Indigenous people.
